I have benefited from social media and I find Keir Starmer's stance on banning social media for teenagers my age dangerous and risky. Read my take for The Daily Sceptic:

Starmer wants to ban children from social media. Jack Watson, 17, argues the Government is making a serious mistake – in his experience, the benefits of social media outweigh the costs. https://t.co/QIgmN9QrS1
Read my match report of Hull’s 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough in the play-off final, which is also a long reflection on what Hull did right and QPR did wrong this season. https://t.co/1bmNVLCZu1
An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training.
In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table.
The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. The final remains scheduled for Saturday 23 May, with the kick-off time to be confirmed.
