A man named Jack from Wakefield, in his 40s, was denied boarding on his flight to Jamaica at Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2 yesterday after staff said he was drunk and had wet himself.
He climbed onto the ledge of the upper-level car park, paced along the outer ridge and live-streamed the protest, bringing the entire terminal to a standstill for four hours.
Drop-off and pick-up forecourts were closed, causing gridlock that spilled onto the M56 and forced passengers, including elderly and disabled travellers, to abandon taxis and walk to the terminal with their luggage.
Police negotiated with him for hours before arresting him on suspicion of causing a public nuisance and a public order offence.
He only came down after being reimbursed more than £3,000 for his holiday.
Greater Manchester Police and Manchester Airport confirmed the incident; the airport urged passengers to allow extra time.
@ArisenZen R&C1 is the best game in the series by a mile. Also Mikey Kelley does a better job in his one (1) game than James Arnold Taylor does in all the others
@gypsyOtoko Itsuno-san doing the dance from the gif was the greatest thing from that party. Thank you all for the wonderful moments, and thank you all for making the game that the fans and developers both wanted.
