With the AI-ification of @Esports_News_UK, UK esports has lost its home for reliable news.
- The scene deserves its stories to be told properly.
- Writers deserve a platform that values their work, not one that uses their work to replace them.
- The community deserves consistent coverage of the passion we all share.
I'm currently working on a project that can provide all the above.
We're bootstrapping it from the off with a profit-share model for contributors as we build sustainably.
If you've got thoughts on what the scene needs or want to get involved, I'd love to talk.
Side thought of the day: has anyone heard much about @amshy_official?
I can't find much about them and it seems they haven't played a competitive match yet
Finally got around to creating a portfolio showcasing some of my most recent work and other pieces I'm particularly proud of.

if any journalists/anyone have transcriptions of their CN-EN interviews at FST, feel free to send me a DM if you want them transcribed & translated!
(Interpreters do a great job of maintaining the flow of the interview, but since there's no real-time transcription, it's really difficult to get every single word translated properly (and trust me i would know because i've been in that seat). tho im not working first stand this year, i still want to prevent good content from being lost in translation! )
Didn't expect to be saying this...
After nearly five years as Esports Insider’s Editor, I've been informed that my role is at risk of redundancy.
As such, I'm actively looking for any opportunities! Both in PR and journalism.
Sucks to see ESI go out this way 💔
Not the news I was expecting, but as of today, my role at Esports Insider is at risk of redundancy.
While this is extremely disappointing, it does mean that I am actively looking for a new place to call home, whether it's writing or a move to PR.
RTs/leads appreciated!
I'm looking to speak to aspiring Casters, Analysts, Broadcast Talent & Production Staff that would be interested in getting involved with an upcoming personal project of mine within Rainbow Six
DM to discuss 🙂

To be replaced by this AI.
There aren’t really the words to describe how frustrated and upset I am that writers have been let go by the current owners of Esports News UK.
@hannahmariezt, @FallingDarragh and @Ginjured have done an incredible job over the past year, they’ve gone above and beyond with their content, have worked really hard, and managed to continue my legacy/focus on UK angles while also handling other broader content the newer owners asked for.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.
To any other site owners and hirers out there looking to pick up writers who can handle esports/gaming news, interviews, event coverage, investigative write-ups and more, I really hope they give these three a look.
Good luck to all of them and please do support them if you can. I know Hannah has set up a Substack in the meantime too.
We need to talk.
I found out last week that I, along with an unfathomable number of freelancers working under the company that owns ENUK, lost my freelance job.
AI played a significant role in this mass job loss. So let me be clear:
Journalism can NEVER be replaced with AI ⬇️
New teams, new format, and a new look. The 2026 season of NLC will bring big changes.
So, here's @BroxahLoL explaining everything you need to know.
