The final fire was lit at 6.12pm on April 12th on Dursey Island, Ireland’s most southwesterly point, to mark the Titanic’s last sight of land. A fire was also lit on the hill by the #BereIsland signal tower as a flotilla of ships including the Irish Navy sailed by the island.
