You won in 2025 after promising—over 50 times—no new taxes on super, negative gearing, capital gains or trusts. Then you rammed through the changes anyway once the votes were locked in. Broken promise after broken promise. Not democracy.
You sold “honesty and transparency.” Instead FOI full grants crashed, Senate document compliance hit multi-decade lows, and you lean harder into secrecy than the governments you once slammed. Most secretive outfit in a generation. Not democracy.
Taxpayer cash-for-votes funding keeps the Labor/LNP duopoly flush while making it brutally hard for anyone else to challenge. Not democracy.
And the staffing cuts for the opposition and crossbench? Convenient way to starve scrutiny so fewer people can research and expose the next round of spin. Not democracy.
Diversity photos at the 50th conference don’t paper over the fact that every major step this government takes tax bait-and-switch, secrecy, entrenched major-party cash, reduced opposition capacity erodes the accountability that actual democracy requires. The movement looks after itself first.

@belinduhpyne A good friend of mine was offer a late term abortion because the babies head was apparently measuring outside of the usual range, and that *could mean something is wrong. That baby is 4, and came out looking absolutely normal. Regardless of what you think, it is happening.
