Another hero in this chain of miracles aboard the flight from Dubai is Shota Musaev.

Shota is a dentist and was the only doctor on board. He was one of three passengers who rushed into the cockpit and stopped the terrorist. Together, they tied the attacker’s hands and feet with headphone cables.

Shota then stopped the bleeding of the severely wounded captain, Smith Machhar.

According to Saudi doctors, the captain would have died if it hadn’t been for Shota’s actions.

When I lived in Tel Aviv when I was working in tech, a crazy man started yelling in Arabic in a supermarket

We later found out he was just mentally unwell, it wasn’t terrorism

What actually happened with smit machchar 🚨

- A flight was coming to Dubai from Israel
- Around 2 hours after takeoff, a Muslim co pilot told Smit he is going to rest a little
- He went back and started stabbing Smit with a pocket knife
- Smit started bleeding and the plane dropped 14,000 feet in a minute
- Smit had a button to open the cockpit door beside his seat. He somehow pressed it
- Passengers saw blood coming from the cockpit
- The Muslim pilot started celebrating and shouting “Allah hu Akbar.” He thought nobody could save all of them now
- Passengers rushed to save the pilot and some of them attacked the other pilot
- A few of them were relief pilots who landed the plane safely
- One of them was a doctor who saved Smit from excessive bleeding
- Now Smit is in stable condition and all 180 passengers are safe

No words are enough to describe the bravery of Smit Machchhar and the mentality of that Muslim pilot 🙏
