A woman is dead. Murdered by her husband.
The Daily Mail choose to speculate if this is due to her having a career.
It is never her career. Or her clothes. Or her choice to be out alone.
Tackling male violence should be a national priority. We seem further from that than ever.
Stunning discovery by @SaulStaniforth.
If you’re still defending Sir Keir Starmer for backing NHS privatisation I would greatly appreciate it if you would “unfollow” me.
Since 2010 the pay of nurses has risen by just £5,400 while MPs have received an eye-watering £20,846 in pay rises.
Who do you think needs a pay rise nurses or our politicians?
#FairPayforNursing
I know I’ll let some horse faced careerist sat in the big Westminster tan spired nonce castle order me to go and scream at a group of exhausted, scared, broken people from another country who are being tossed about like donkeys carrots in a hotel. You nasty dumb bastards you.
Today’s experiment.
Tory MP Edward Leigh claimed expenses of £2,332 for heating last year, and £2,474 the year before that
Retweet this if you think he should pay for his own utility bills.
Genuine question: Why do MPs get their utility bills expensed?
It seems mad to be that their salary comes from the public purse - much like NHS and other life saving services. But they get paid more than double *and* they get their bills and travel paid.
Tory MPs Liz Truss, Anne-Marie Trevelyan, James Gray, and Vicky Ford have all put their Amazon Prime subscriptions on expenses.
Please retweet this if you think MPs should pay for their own Amazon Prime subscription.
@JohnnyMcAT @MarinaPurkiss@TiceRichard@reformparty_uk How? I'm genuinely asking, as you say it's "simple" and yet it clearly isn't, how do you stay away from it? The UK can go and make business with other people but it clearly isn't working atm and it's not the EU's fault since they aren't involved, so how do we stay away?
Nadhim Zahawi’s 2nd job used to earn him 16 times the salary of a nurse, yet he still put in an expense claim of 31p for some paper clips.
Surely nobody is shocked that he’s a bit of a Tory bastard?
Remember that one well. When we had a PM who knew what he was doing, and a commitment to the NHS that was backed up with action rather than gaslighting words
*IMPORTANT*
Rishi Sunak’s Government is telling the public it’s anti strike legislation “is in common with countries like France, Italy and Spain”
It’s complete boll****. An outrageous con to rob millions of workers of their democratic right to strike
