Here's part of what Brighton PD had to say relating to the continued use of expedited appearance tickets, most recently with 2 (of 3) teens accused of stealing a vehicle last night. Police say they were released as the Monroe Co. Juvenile Detention Ctr. was "at capacity." @News_8

Roughly 300 incredibly happy 7th and 8th graders attended Cosgrove's 1st ever dance (at least for 30 years). I had to pinch myself when it was over as it went nearly flawlessly. Huge shout out to @jimcentola and @commPROGRAMscsd for making kids dreams come true!!

1st ever middle school dance was a success & so was drop off! 200 cars 2 lanes 280 students in 12 minutes! All safe & sound. Thanks Joe, Gil, Will, Bill, Tom, Ms. Robinson, Mr. Burger & Mr. Bonafede for helping our students arrive safely and swiftly. #ittakesavillage @jimcentola
