@femmence Shooting a verbal fascist in the neck
vs
Lightly pricking a genocidal maniac who planned to directly kill innocent civilians
What are we even talking about here? If you don’t agree with the philosophies of Superman that’s fine but don’t claim he’d agree with that.
@FreesiaThePilot They said “I don’t wish go call for political violence” after making fun of people for not wishing death on someone.
That is the exact opposite of a properly articulated sentence.
@Luxaternia @RogeTranslating @JorgeyPorgeyy I’m not sure what you mean by this
The people doing those things are never the type of nazi you’ll encounter. The statement refers to someone spreading nazi sentiments.
That is a systemic thing. Killing them will never do anything. You can’t just exterminate people one by one.
@RogeTranslating @JorgeyPorgeyy I wouldn’t continue to support that as an ethical solution.
For one it doesn’t solve much, especially this death. And for second it relieves people of their consequences…
Oh and for third its MURDER. Big difference between punching someone and waterboarding them in their blood
@RogeTranslating @JorgeyPorgeyy Did we not just clarify it’s not about remorse?
You just said you don’t support political violence and therefore don’t wish death upon someone.
I don’t feel bad for him dying (in general, yes I feel bad about him likely drowning in his blood, boohoo I’m so evil) but-
@AvgDSEnthusiast @DCUHypeGuy You’re conflating political parties with political ideologies
You do know there’s no actual left wing party in America right?
@wwaytooyoung@djodjeee_ No I understand. Again you care to explain how the left dude has to be put in air quotes?
Is nerdiness somehow tied to attractiveness? (which is a completely subjective thing)
@atom4087 Batman actually knew his parents, he lived with them til he was 8.
Superman didn't know them whatsoever, he was sent as a baby. Not even a toddler, he was a baby, he has no real connection to his biological parents.
@wwaytooyoung@djodjeee_ Can you explain why the guy on the left can't be nerdy?
Being a "nerd" doesn't absolve you of looking attractive, people like dating people who look attractive, this is common sense.
There's nothing in the definition of nerd which equates to being unattractive.
@iris69_96@jooniekisser @nnafioso No they still would be
Asexuality is the lack of experiencing sexual attraction.
Eg how straight guys and lesbians feel about men, or how straight women and gay guys feel about women, just for every gender instead.
It doesn’t remove their libido lmao
@kyung_iris@jooniekisser @nnafioso Depends
To simplify, aroace people are basically the opposite of bi people. They feel the way a straight guy would to men just to all genders.
Asexuality specifically is like that but only for sexual attraction. So an ace person could still experience romantic attraction.
@Marijuanasbabyy@xoangelonline@jooniekisser @nnafioso Yeah okay that makes sense, having sex due to sex drive or other reasons outside of sexual attraction makes sense.
What doesn’t make sense is a kink like BDSM. That’s inherently linked to sexual attraction.
