I am deeply shocked and anguished by the brutal attack between Leingangching and TS Kasom Village that claimed the life of an innocent truck driver transporting essential goods to Ukhrul and left a brave police personnel injured in the line of duty.

Today, I visited JNIMS Hospital to meet our injured personnel and assure him of our full support. I pray for his speedy recovery and extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the deceased driver.

Such senseless violence is an assault on peace, public safety, and humanity itself. The State Government will take the strictest action, and those responsible will be brought to justice.

Violence has no future in Manipur. The rule of law will prevail.
