Built a recruiting evaluation dashboard in Excel.
Every rating is selected from a dropdown menu, and the dashboard instantly updates the player's weighted scores and overall 0–100 evaluation.
Simple process. Consistent evaluations. Faster recruiting decisions.
🚨 Hudl/Sportscode Tip🚨
Stop emailing yourself clips.
Export them directly to an iCloud Drive folder instead.
Your Mac uploads them automatically, your iPhone downloads them automatically, and the clip is waiting in the Files app.
It's the closest thing I've found to a "Save to Phone" button.
DM me if you want help setting it up.
🚨 New Series: No Sportscode? No Problem.
You can build powerful basketball analytics in Excel or Google Sheets too.
Here’s a Five-Player Lineup Simulator I built. 👇
Pick any five players, and the spreadsheet instantly updates their projected lineup profile.
Quickly compare:
• Projected shooting
• Projected rebounding
• Projected net rating
• And more!
The tool doesn’t matter…Giving coaches fast answers does
I found a better workaround.
Create an "Sportscode Exports" folder in iCloud Drive. Then, when you export a clip from Sportscode, save it directly to that folder instead of your Downloads folder. Since your Mac and iPhone are synced through iCloud, the clip automatically appears in the Files app on your phone within seconds. From there, it's one tap to Save Video to your Camera Roll.
It's not quite the one-click solution you're describing, but it completely eliminates the email step. DM me if you need help setting it up.@Hudl@HudlAnalysis
Man. @Hudl needs to add a save clip button. Maybe I’m missing it. But we should be able to save one clip with the click of a button. Not download it and wait for an email. One click and it save to our camera roll or downloads folder.
AI isn’t replacing the workflow, it’s removing the repetitive parts. BUT PLEASE STOP RELYING ON IT!!
The wrong way to use AI:
❌ Copy and paste without thinking.
❌ Let it make every decision.
❌ Trust every answer without checking it.
❌ Making project by scratch
The right way:
✅ Automate repetitive tasks.
✅ Speed up your workflow.
✅ Use it to brainstorm, organize, and refine your ideas.
✅ Add your own knowledge and expertise to the final product.
AI should make you faster not replace your ability to think.
The best workflows still need someone who knows the game.

If your Sportscode script isn’t working…
Check this first.
A lot of beginners mix up () and "".
❌ Wrong
COUNT(+3)
✅ Right
COUNT("+3")
Sportscode treats +3 as text—the name of a button.
If you’re referring to a button or label, put it in quotes.
It’s a tiny detail that causes a lot of headaches.
