SIX STAR FOOTBALL SCOUTING REPORT: Gering put together a solid performance during camp competition at Marist, showcasing the arm talent and toughness that have helped him become a productive quarterback at Montville. At 6'2, 185 pounds, he possesses good size for the position and consistently delivered catchable passes throughout throwing sessions. His arm strength was evident when attacking multiple levels of the field, and he did a good job keeping the football away from defenders while giving receivers opportunities to make plays. Gering remained composed throughout competitive periods and displayed the confidence needed to operate an offense efficiently.
