The story trajectory isnt linear like most manga. It’s a nuanced tale that follows in a circular path. Similar to how the Star Wars original trilogy comes full circle with the prequels! Its not mainstream because it only got a 2 episode OVA. 😔 But 2nd live action film is coming!
Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita is the most slept on manga there is. Period. Its on the same level as One Piece, Berserk and other mainstream manga. The battle sequences never disappoint and the story and character development is just amazing. The manga is resuming this year!
