Molly Brown feels that we cannot attend South Central Regionals without addressing the recent draconian laws passed by the Texas legislature. We strongly oppose both Texas SB8 and Texas SB1. We feel that both of these bills infringe on the rights of the people of Texas.

By participating in this event, we have the potential to further burden an already stressed healthcare system. Given these cocktails, hosting a ultimate frisbee tournament in a state that is currently overwhelmed by COVID cases feels both selfish and irresponsible. (3/?)
