Just for clarity, my research background is SUD tx engagement. I am so grateful for the recommendations, many of them reflect what is already included. The class has an emphasis on addressing stigma, social determinants of health, and listening to those w/ lived experience.

Yes I saw that piece from The Atlantic. No, stigmatizing drug use and people who use drugs is not an effective intervention. Nor will it solve the overdose crisis, etc. Society needs to put in the work to confront their internalized loathing of people who use drugs.
