@francis_ngannou would you be willing or able to fight @Tyson_Fury in December if it was a traditional 12-round pro boxing match, Marques of Queensbury rules, with the Lineal Heavyweight title on the line? All of Fury's potential opponents seem to be running, how about you?
@MichaelBensonn @frankwarren_tv They've only got two months to announce and begin promoting the fight, how long is @Tyson_Fury supposed to sit around waiting? They have the contract, they verbally agreed to the terms, what is the hold-up? For God's sake, just fight already. AJ is lucky to be getting this shot.
America was never meant to be an Empire.
Empire's go broke!
America was meant to be an example to the world. A "land of the free."
It wasn't supposed to foolishly attempt to police the world.
That's how you go broke!
Only because he came up in weight. Any legit heavyweights like Fury have zero chance of getting there now, it's like they've put a cap on how high a true heavyweight can go, not matter what they accomplish. If Fury beats him, will he be the first British fighter to beat a #1 P4P?
Oleksandr Usyk is the first heavyweight to be Ring Magazine's pound-for-pound king since Mike Tyson was the undisputed champion in his prime over 30 years ago.
@TezzMac10@MichaelBensonn I 100% agree with you on this. That's why I think Fury especially got under his skin when he called him "manufactured," because AJ knows there is truth to it. The sad part is his true personality is 100 times more relatable & inspiring. He should have been himself since day one.
Pay no heed, Champ. Many of my fellow Americans are still bitter about the fact that you spanked every fighter that they ever cheered for. I personally enjoyed the ride, because I saw you as a representative of the earth.
@Tyson_Fury how exactly does one spend $500 million in a lifetime? Do you plan on building a Gypsy-themed amusement park? Perhaps buy an island and build a castle in the middle if it? I'm just spit-balling. It WOULD be awesome to see a museum on the history of boxing.
@KaylaBraxtonWWE is the unsung hero of @WWE tv presentation. Everyone speaks of the "women's evolution" in regards to in-ring wrestling, but KB is slowly evolving into the new voice of WWE. In 20 years we may well speak of her in the breath as @JRsBBQ, @MichaelCole, or Mean Gene.
@ESPNPlus why is the @Tyson_Fury vs Wilder 2 ppv edited, chopped up, and impossible to watch on ESPN+? No ring entrances (best part of the show), panel discussions, ect? I just want to watch the complete ppv, & i can't. Why ruin a great show by cutting out the best parts? @espn
@MichaelBensonn Wilder gave the right to be trusted about anything after he said Mark Breland drugged his sealed water bottle, while Ricky Hatton slipped an egg weight into Fury's glove, while the Nevada commission officials deliberately looked the other way, while his costume attacked his legs
@KiladelphiaGOON The fact that we're grading World class heavyweight fighters on this type of curve is not a good sign. Don't forget too that D.Whyte didn't get KO'd, Fury shoved him & he tripped & his head smacked the canvas, that's why he was dazed. These are grown adult FIGHTERS saying this.
Fury has announced that he is on board, but the promoters better open their check books because it's gonna cost them. He has been laying out the exact game plan for beating Usyk for a year now, but AJ ignored his advice. Now the King is gonna have to handle business himself.
Hey @Tyson_Fury & @usykaa Can we finally give the fans an UNDISPUTED HW Championship fight? 19 years is a long time and fans deserve it! 👊🏾💥 Let’s get it cracking!
@MichaelBensonn Fury knows exactly how to beat Usyk. He has been publicly laying it out for Joshua since before the first fight, as AJ losing would cost Fury about $100 million, but AJ ignored his advice. Now I think Fury feels like he needs to do it himself, & I have no reason to doubt he can.
@MichaelBensonn If a fighter can't stay calm under intense pressure, why are they fighting for the Heavyweight Championship of the world? I never saw Holyfield or Ali throw the title on the ground in front of the world and run out of a stadium, because they knew the whole world looked up to them
@TonyBellew We hold world class boxers to a higher standard, as they've always been the warriors we aspire to be. That is pressure, but the ability to stay calm under pressure defines great fighters. A Champion throwing down the most prestigious title in sports over a loss is a huge letdown.
