Law enforcement tried for years (decades) to combat cartels in Latin America, with limited success. But a larger cultural shift was needed to truly eliminate them.

That is why President Trump designated cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and created the Americas Counter Cartel Coalition (A3C), a military alliance with 19 members.

Narco terrorists have killed more Americans than ISIS and Al Qaeda. The War Department will work with A3C members to kill narcos and destroy their networks.
