RIP Rick Adelman. First head coach I ever hired. Hall of Famer, brilliant basketball mind, and a great family man. Iโll never forget the 22-game win streak or him pushing the eventual champion 2009 Lakers to Game 7. Thinking of his family today.
What a game between the @sixers vs @celtics. What a game. @JoelEmbiid is just special. So is @TyreseMaxey. But somehow the @celtics have come back from nearly 20 down and have pulled to within one with a little more than 5 min left. Very few things in life better than a Game 7
Props to the @sixers. Big-time win. But Iโd donโt understand for the life of me how the @celtics spent 6-straight possessions launching 3โs โ including 3 from @FCHWPO โ in the last 2 min of a 1-point game. How? Why? Nobody goes to the hole? Tries to draw a foul? Get to the free throw line? Oh Well. The @sixers deserve this moment. The. Monday arrives, as to my @nyknicks.#LetsGo
29 years.
Coach, thank you for your wisdom, for your leadership, for the culture you createdโฆ
But most importantly for being a great and inspiring person.
It was an honor to be a part of those 29 years๐๐ฝ Wishing you the best on your new chapter.

@Masterful_Logic @stephenasmith Yeah but Shaq's career was declining by then. But when he won with Kobe, it was his team, and Kobe was generally not the most consistent player in the NBA Finals
When LeBron talks bouncing back from failure, I listen. He has failed SO MUCH. 2009 Magic. 2010 Celts (Gilbert: "Quit.") 2011 Finals meltdown. 2013 G6 saved by Ray. 2014 record Finals margin loss. 2015 Finals G4/5/6. 2018 G1 OT pout. 2019 missed playoffs. 2021 G5 left bench.
