Extremely happy and excited to announce that I will be returning to Austin Peay State Univeristy to continue my academic and baseball career! Thank you to all the coaches who have helped me get to where I am today! @TJanssen06 @AustinPeayBSB @Condor__15
Former #Titans coach Mike Vrabel is in L.A. today to interview for the #Chargers head coaching job, per sources.
It’s the first known interview for Vrabel, 48, who was 54-45 with three playoff trips in six seasons with Tennessee.
Ran Carthon stated the “vision” is set but they will not debut it to fan’s till the new head coach is hired.
In my opinion trying to rationalize this in my tiny brain I believe this means possibly 3 things.
1. Amy’s vision is just butts in seats at the new stadium.
How you do that?
By having a fun team that scores points, wins games, allows media access to things like practices and allows players/coaches to actually talk at pressers which raises national views on team most markets hate to cover.
2. Competitive advantage in the hiring process - They think bringing in all these coaches to hear the candidates tell them what they think our vision is and if it doesn’t line up they aren’t the next head coach.
3. The vision is something stupid like “don’t settle for mediocrity” and they are just afraid to tell us.
If that is the case I say we set this whole place ablaze. #Titans
The Titans SHOULD NOT have fired Mike Vrabel. But you know that already. 6 seasons, 4 playoff appearances, AFC Championship game appearance and Coach of the Year. Whoever gets him is getting one of the best leaders of men in the NFL today.
This offseason, the #Titans have $80+ million in cap, a Top 10 Draft Pick, and a young QB with high potential.
And they think it’s the right time to fire their proven head coach.
Dysfunction at its finest! #TitanUp
Titans fired head coach Mike Vrabel, per sources.
Vrabel led Tennessee to four consecutive winning seasons after arriving in 2018, but the Titans have experienced back-to-back frustrating seasons, finishing multiple games under .500 both times.
