It was great to present the results of the most recent Aus Constitutional Values Survey at the Policy Innovation Hub's National Cabinet workshop in Canberra yesterday. Thanks everyone for an engaging discussion
In The Conversation today from @ajbrownAus , Adrian Miller, Susan Bird and myself - what do Australians think of a First Nations Voice, and how will that shape the road to a referendum? https://t.co/IcFl4WTUU8
I've had a blast doing lots of election media over the past few weeks, but the highlight has been making it onto the 7pm news last night @CQUniSBL@CquLaw#ecrchat
CONGRATS! Lance Rundle (Head of Law), Amanda-Jane George @LAWS12068_AJG and Jacob Deem @JacobDeem24 have been recognised for their outstanding teaching in 2021. Lance is the 2021 CQU Distance Educator of the Year, while AJ and Jacob received Student Voice Commendations!
@CQUni
PUBLISHED! New article from me in the UNSW Law Journal on the role of supportive subsidiarity (empowering lower levels of government) instead of usual de/centralization arguments in Aus. Especially timely given vaccination shortages and 'fend for yourself' approach from feds
Although we are unable to celebrate the launch of Issue 44(2) in person tonight, we are pleased to announce that the full Issue is now available on our website! https://t.co/0dFPeWzJ2R
@EddieSynot Bunnings is such a great place to take little ones - so much to see and the mini trolleys are ace. Knew it was time to head home when my 14 m.o. found a watering can and started trying to water the nursery plants though!
We have two new posts on https://t.co/5YYsBkYQV7 today: Francis Markham @fmarked & William Sanders on what we know about public attitudes to a First Nations Voice, and Jacob Deem @JacobDeem24 breaking down the latest Constitutional Values Survey. @ulurustatement@ILC_UNSW
IT’S TIME! The Australian Constitutional Values Survey shows that the majority of Australians support a constitutionally protected First Nations Voice to Parliament. It’s the “obvious way forward.” Visit https://t.co/srvxGHPGM2 for more information #UluruStatement#auspol#auslaw
This morning in @ConversationEDU, @ajbrownAus Susan Bird and I present our results from the Australian Constitutional Values Survey 2021. We find substantial overall support for a First Nations Voice and a clear preference for constitutional enshrinement

More than 40 public law experts from across the country implore the government to commit to constitutional protection for the proposed Indigenous Voice. Without this protection, it is being set up to fail.
So Cricket Australia should stick to sport but the PM doesn’t have to stick to politics? Yeah I’m gonna need a DRS for that one.
Congrats to @CricketAus on a great step forwards. Don’t listen to #ScottyFomMarketing - a No. 9 batsman who doesn’t bowl if ever I saw one
