@SleeperMets I’d set the lineup asS
1) Carson Benge (RF)
2) Francisco Lindor (SS)
3) Juan Soto (LF)
4) Bo Bichette (3B)
5) Francisco Alvarez (C)
6) Luis Robert (DH)
7) Jorge Polanco (1B)
8) Marcus Semien (2B)
9) AJ Ewing (CF)
The moment every CBB fan realized Michigan was winning the national championship
The rest of the world was too busy watching 49ers Panthers 20-9 on MNF
Alabama pretty much got what they wanted:
- Three-point shooting contest
- Fast pace, especially early
- Minimized Mara's impact
Michigan still won by 13. The Wolverines are a juggernaut.
@TomTerrific541@StevenACohen2 I’d be willing to send Baty instead of Vientos and would slot him in at DH in place of Baty.
Also would be good with Lindor batting 1 and Duran 2. Regardless, the lineup would be lethal!
@StevenACohen2 Trade with Red Sox:
Brett Batt for Jarren Duran
-Sox have a need at 2B/3B, and we need OF. Duran also a plus defender w/ speed on the base paths.
Trade with Tigers:
Brandon Sproat, Jett Williams, Jacob Reimer, AJ Ewing, Jack Wenniger for Tarik Skubal
@StevenACohen2 Steve - I love Baty and he’s a great fit for our team, but with us not landing Tucker, teams interested in Baty and Bichette still available, should we reevaluate our reluctance to moving him?
Few thoughts on how to move forward below (sorry, they are pricy):
Breaking: Savion Hiter (@5starsavi), regarded by many as the No. 1-rated RB in the Class of 2026, has committed to the University of Michigan, per his advisor @coachmccannert.
Among 112 pitchers with 100+ innings pitched in the Minor Leagues this season, Jonah Tong ranks:
1st in ERA (1.50)
1st in K% (40.8)
1st in FIP (1.67)
1st in AVG against (.143)
2nd in WHIP (0.92)
2nd in SwStr% (16.8)
6th in GB% (54.1)
@Metsmerized#Mets
Kevin Stefanski challenged Shedeur Sanders on fourth-and-1.
Empty formation. Browns’ 2nd team offense against Panthers’ 1st team defense.
Sanders doesn’t have his first option nor does he have protection. So he can’t get to option 2. Turnover on downs.
Looked like Colorado.
@SteveGelbs Kodai Senga, David Peterson, Sean Manaea is a great 1-2-3, but having a 4th guy on that level would go a long way.
We’ve seen enough of Montas and can’t give Holmes much more leash.
Let’s see if McLean and/or Sproat can give us the upside in the rotation that we didn’t land.
