Yesterday I read that Flag Football was the fastest growing youth sport. Girls Flag Football, specifically. I couldn't find a great scoring app on the app store so I thought, how hard could it be! In like half a day I've went from idea to a nearly functioning youth flag football scoring/stats web app. It is unbelievable what is possible with today's tools.
It's not going to have the greatest UI, but it is going to work, and you are going to get better stats than you would with most of the existing FF scoring applications. I'll probably finish it throughout the week and try to clean everything up before I actually release to the wild. It's incredible how quick an idea can become reality with just a little bit of effort. π
@clairevo@Remotion@suno@capcutapp this is aweseome. i created a weekly metrics hype video with the remotion skill in claude code today. 9am monday morning cannot come soon enough. it took me like 25 minutes with like one extra iteration prompt. unbelievable.
I built an email automation tool this week to send out emails (in 10s increments) with specific formats, variables, etc. It's not to replace any ESPs (of course), but it certainly helps when you want to target a very small number of users with very targeted questions.
In my experience, doing this at a large scale, call it 20,000 emails, deliverability drops and is seemingly ineffective.
On day one of trying this out, sending to 100 users, I saw 20% response rate in less than 10 hours. I'm not convinced you can get that with asset / html heavy automated emails from your ESP. (willing to be wrong on that but I truly believe users just to talk to a human)
Total side note: I believe that most users at this early stage are just happy to have an open channel to someone that will listen. Sometimes you download a product. Try it, run into trouble, and there is no one to help you through it UNLESS you yourself send an email. But when you proactively reach out to what may be a struggling user, they may open up, and you may build trust π
I've been soliciting feedback from users via email this week. In doing so, I didn't have a quick way to document and share with others. So I built a tool with IMAP and the Claude API.π
At any point I can fetch my replies, choose the ones I want to synthesize, and voila. I'm one export and import to google sheets away from my personal interactions with users being organized and synthesized.
@nikitabier This feels like a form of feed curation. Now give me the ability to unfollow everyone with one click, please :)
Or, can I get a separate feed for Startup Corner, Product Management, Sports, etc.... π€
You can just do things. This evening I created a geographical data viz tool I can use to track any user event across sport and month.
It took about 45 minutes to get this going from idea to hosted for free on Netlify.
All accomplished in Claude Code.
thank you. i use @meetgranola every single day but rarely find myself going to the app to recap the meeting. i think of it more as a background agent but it just lives in it's own world. i then go back to chatgpt/claude to recap with my own memory, which is counterproductive.
this will allow me to continuously add context/memory to my daily driver models with ease. π

@rileybrown everything is so fragmented today. substack, x, reddit, news outlets, random blog. give me one customizable interface that curates all of the content i want to consume.
the closest i can get to this today on my own is a custom built curation of rss feedsβ¦.
Call me crazy, @nikitabier, but I'd like to see this more visible on my right-side feed instead of 'What's Happening'. Help me not forget about the things that I hope to read. π€
@petergyang@GeminiApp In your experience, how does Gemini stack up against ChatGPT and Claude for memory/personal intelligence?
I was 100% all in to ChatGPT for a couple years but it has no idea who I am anymore. I've liked what I've seen so far since switching to Claude.
@Yuchenj_UW Long Anthropic and Google. Loving both products more and more each day. Increasingly frustrated with ChatGPT in general. Drama doesn't help....
