@valigo being on nixos, i’m in luck i don’t need the latest bleeding edge releases of software. I found a decent compromise by mixing both stable and unstable and for exceptions i can use overlays/forks but those are usually not cached so it can be painful if the software is big

@valigo krita 6 is not stable so seems right to be in the nixpkgs unstable branch

by installing the latest motorola update, i started to get notifications from AppBox:

* it's a vodafone app (not requested)
* the app comes pre installed (i.e. you can't uninstall)
* the notifications were about a list of suggested apps
* no mentions in the update details
