Most great coaches struggle most in the area they coach.
That’s not a flaw — it’s the qualification.
If you’ve forgotten what struggle feels like, your advice becomes theory.
If you’re drowning in it unconsciously, your advice becomes projection.
Great coaches hold the tension
When I’m stuck in negative self-perception, I remind myself of this:
It’s usually not intuition.
It’s insecurity pretending to be insight.
So I shift the question:
From “What do they think of me?”
To “How can I serve right now?”
That’s where clarity returns.
