Putting aside the whole "future of CBB" element, my (incredibly limited) understanding is that a higher court judge absolutely CAN overturn AND invalidate the TRO, retroactively undoing any of its stipulations and putting UA at risk.

I think one of my key takeaways from Summer Game Fest was that the video game industry has learned the lesson the movie industry is refusing to learn: Mid-size, mid-budget projects are good! There's room for CoD and Assassin's Creed alongside Kunitsu-Gami and Lego Horizon.

@helldivers2 Matches on the highest difficulties look like an accident now. Like it's just a stress test to see how many enemies the engine can spawn at once. And this was not an issue the first couple weeks! I just don't understand what even happened.

Absolutely fascinated by the complete undoing of @helldivers2. Easily my favorite game of the year so far, warts and all, until the team completely unbalanced everything to the point that it's deeply unfun and tedious.

@helldivers2 I have no doubt Arrowhead is working its butt off to fix everything that's broken and making tons of new stuff that will improve the game. But the foundation was so solid (gameplay-wise, maybe not technically) at launch, and so much of that has just inexplicably vanished.
