My hair color growing up was called dirty blonde, I didn't take it as an insult, it's a hair color.
but I'm a man, so I guess if a woman had the same hair color, that means society hates her and not me.
And the whole dyeing or bleaching hair is just one more thing that women do to women. While some men might have a preference for very blonde hair, most aren't going to care that much at all.
I don't know how many times I've been with a group of friends, where we were going out, and the women needed like an hour to get ready because all the things that they "need to do" and the men couldn't care less.
This is one big annoyance when they try to change anything to be more woke. Not just in games.
They take a franchise that became popular because people enjoyed what it was. Then they decide it's not woke enough. So they take everything great out of it and replace it with woke stuff. Next they will complain that people didn't play it or even that they didn't give it a chance.
And like I said, it's not just games. If they want to create original woke stories. They are free to do so. They actually do it all of the time, it's just not as well known because they are often horrible and never become popular enough for people to hear about them. But they need to just leaving the most popular and successful things alone, because they aren't making things better by making them woke, they are killing them one by one.
Yeah I agree with that too.
I understand the frustration of people that don't want to sacrifice. While previous generations definitely did so, the past 100+ years that we are more accustomed to, each generation leading up to about ~60 or so years ago, were able to have more and actually work less than their parents.
Now we're going in the opposite direction.
I would personally have kids if I was married, even if I was starting with nothing, even if I was in a 1 bedroom or even a studio apartment to start. But I don't blame the average person wanting more in life, especially when starting a family. They were raised in a way that they thought this was just common life, rather than a luxury that was only made possible through the efforts of their parents/grandparents.
It's actually the biggest problem for me when it comes to dating. Anyone I meet, they want luxuries, travel, and experiences, more than they want kids. Almost everyone wants 1-2 kids, if any at all, and only after they've found success in a career, or travelled the world, or done everything on some list. While I want a minimum 3 kids, hopefully 5, and I just want a simple life with a loving family. But bringing that up to a woman these days is basically like asking for the impossible.
Using mass immigration to prop up GDP hasn't worked. Not only has GDP per capita gone down, the actual GDP has gone down.
During covid I got a job in manufacturing on the side just for something to keep me busy and during the near 2 years I was there, they mass hired people due to the covid labor shortage and I think they were better off without the barely English speaking indians.
The amount of problems the caused, how slow they worked, their near inability to work as part of a team, and the fact that it wasn't long before no one else wanted to walk with them.
I imagine it was probably near the same everywhere else.
And it's really unfortunate that the Liberal government decided to go this route. Because on top of their minimal contributions (if any) to the labor force, they have caused so many other problems. Immigration fraud, insurance fraud, towing fraud. Almost every major headline I seen related to fraud in recent years has had a handful of brown names/pictures attached to it. I can't even imagine how much fraud there are with benefits, not including what the government probably freely gives them, including the 1.1 billion in child care benefits to international students in 2025.
I really wish they just allowed the population decline to happen. Kept immigration strict to only the good people, maybe the Indians that were already in Canada would have kept a positive reputation.
I know multiple real Canadians that want kids and they just don't know how they'll afford it. Even cutting back almost everything they can, they are still trying to budget for a home and save for the cost of kids. Maybe without the immigrants, young couples getting cheap rent/mortgages, would have caused another baby boom.
So they show up where one guy is unable to get up, someone is already addressing that he is injured, blood is mentioned before they even dismiss the claim that he was stabbed.
One guy with seemingly no marks on his face is claiming an injury and they show more concern for him than the stabbed man that cant get up.
They don’t seem to care much at all about doing any sort of proper check for wounds or blood, they just check his face for whatever reason.
I can’t imagine how his family must feel watching this.
The only hope of him getting help when police arrive and they do nothing but make it worse.
Or we could do the popular thing and start mass deportation of all non citizens that are a burden.
Like how it was recently announced that we gave 1.1 billion in child care benefits to international students.
At the very least, no non citizens should receive a penny of taxpayer dollars. Anyone that comes here should have to pay insurance for any sort of aid that they may need.
I understand when it's old people holding a sign, but all the people in their 20's to 30's is a strange sight.
I had a new fridge delivered months ago and was relieved that a Saturday delivery date was available.
Even trying to spend time with a small group of friends feels like some sort of puzzle when we look at schedules since some of them do shift work.
The media doesn't help either. Every time I see a sexual assault case posted by one of the big media companies, the only times I ever see the mention of rape is in a direct quote, often from the victim or their family.
The police won't call them rapists, the news won't call them rapists. And it's very clear that people don't take "sexual assault" as seriously as rape.
And I don't blame the ignorant people. Before I looked into this myself, every time I heard sexual assault, I thought of the things from all the times I had to do mandatory training for a new job and they told us all the things that were considered sexual assault. Almost no one thinks of rape when they hear it.
One thing I hate about Canada is that 'sexual assault' doesn't really say what happened. Instead, there are just levels of sexual assault.
Additionally, rape can occur at any level of sexual assault. Rape needs to be a charge on it's own so communities can know about rapists.
Georgetown, Ontario:
Residents have resorted to posting flyers around town to warn women and girls of a predator living in their community.
A teenage girl was assaulted by Sankalp Singh while walking home one evening.
If restaurants want to add these fees, I want them so obvious that no one could ever miss it.
Put additional service fee on every window, a sign on the table, every page of the menu in massive font, a huge banner on the website too.
The biggest problem is, it's either no where to be found or hard to find.
I stopped going to restaurants years ago, only been to two in a few years for wedding party related stuff, but I only found it on the bottom of the menu in small print. and it was 20% extra.
If someone goes to a restaurant, orders food and drinks based off the menu prices, and then learns it's 20% more because of a service fee, plus you are supposed to tip like 20%, a meal they thought was $40, that they were going to pay $48 for, is now $56 dollars.
And I will never respect restaurants for this, because they could simply raise the price of every item by 20% and it would do the exact same thing.
Any sort of addiction often starts in someone's youth. Most drinkers/smokers I know started in their teens. The only people I knew in high school that apparently turned into heavy drug addicts were the 'stoner kids'.
This is unfortunately a parenting failure.
Approximately 75% of boys and 70% of girls ages 13-17 report having seen pornography (Robb & Mann, 2023).
That's a lot of underage exposure to an industry that claims to be "adult" entertainment.
Is it really news that a fertility tax credit doesn't cover sperm for lesbians.
Personally I don't really care about fertility tax credits for anyone. That's not the leading cause of the birth rate decline, it's young people not getting married and having kids.
Men worked hard, earned money, married women with next to nothing and built a family together.
Women got DEI hired into tons of jobs. But when they make the money, they often decide that they still want a man who makes more and now they want less kids than ever, if any at all.
Men worked hard for their families above all else, many women don’t want to be that provider and they don’t offer a big family.
Those women are the ones with nothing to offer. If the offer is just sex, men can find that somewhere else.
@junonewscom How about we just stop letting in massive amounts of people from third world countries.
Internation students and temporary foreign workers are blatantly disrespecting our laws and Canadians.
I no longer care about the 'good ones'. I care about Canadians.
The indigenous and black populations of North America and Australia, but the US especially, got the best possible outcome for their people.
If this woman was born in Africa, outside of an area that white people built, she wouldn't have any luxury she has today.
If white people didn't colonise North America or Australia, the people there would likely have been conquered by Russia or China (who wouldn't put up with this bullshit) or if no one conquered them, they would be in the stone age.
Anyone who ever argues that without white influence, these populations would be advanced, like the whole wakanda theory, are morons. Not only that, but white people were the biggest factor in ending the majority of slavery, but it still exists today in countries that these people don't want to offend.
This is why when I use someone's video, i just use the built in X feature.
These accounts are going out of their way to download the video, then edit a video if it has a watermark, and then reposting it as if it was theirs.
Even if the account you give credit to is one that did this as well, they will be the one that gets the consequences.
Mark Carney finally softens up on the US just before it's announced were in a recession.
That's not a coincidence. The Liberal stance against the US didn't work, it was never going to work.
We need the US and they don't really need us. I hope the Liberals finally learn this.
