@SecWar That’s egregious. To cut their contract is one thing but to list them as a supply chain risk is a precedent to set that the government can overstep and abuse power to coerce private companies into doing what they want. You cannot articulate why they are a supply chain risk.
Holy shit this is bad.
Pete Hegseth is basically threatening Anthropic - which he inked a deal with to implement AI in the Pentagon - because they won’t remove these two safeguards in their programming.
1. Prevention of AI-controlled weapons
2. Prevention of mass domestic surveillance of Americans
Even worse, it seems OpenAI, Google, and xAI have all signaled they’re totally fine with removing these safeguards if Anthropic won’t.
This should be the only story everywhere right now.
Stand with Anthropic!
Palantir is a threat to U.S. national security; the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is a threat to U.S. national security and is also a threat to the personal security of every U.S. resident! https://t.co/TuL70a8P0m
don’t let anyone tell you you’re being “too political” for having common sense & not being desensitized to government mandated murders in plain sight.
@iConnor_P @TheIndianaBison It is kind of fun. Been a while since we were the ones getting talked to like this lol they are POSITIVE they’re in the peach bowl already
@recruitsindiana Love the attitude from the team having their moment on top. Bama might not win a chip this year but they can give yall hell if they get going, 31-13 is quite the prediction.
@MuseHoosier I thought the Alabama fans aren’t going to LIBERAL CALIFORNIA thing was a joke lmfao there’s no way you genuinely think Alabama fans aren’t going to travel bc it’s a blue state
