@mwaenerberg Also the current idea of different voices (fach) would either disappear or have to be transposed according to a standard. If we started talking about Db-singers or F-singers it would be a complete wild west.
@mwaenerberg The voice is after all seldom beyond two octaves in a way that would need notation that couldn't fit onto one of the existing clefs in C. Although as a singer I am indoctrinated in the current system and therefore find it to work well.
@mwaenerberg Yes I understood that but in my opinion the notion that the voice is a transposing instrument is interesting, but the idea of notating the voice as such is maybe making it a bit more difficult than it need to be.
@mwaenerberg however the use of voice-specific clefs has been quite common for a few hundred years and in my opinion is more useful and versatile than transposing in the case of singers.
@mwaenerberg Yes I understand but due to the way our ears work as singers it's a stretch to ask us to practice with transposed material. I am however very much on the same page regarding that the tessitura dictates the key in which the music should be transposed...
Started following the NHL more closely again two years ago, and Dallas quite naturally became the team I followed the most. And now I would definitely say I'm a fan. How could you not with a team like this and a crazy Russian machine between the pipes. #DallasStars#DOBBY
One of the requirements to become a War Chief of the Crow Indians was to steal an enemy's horse.
So during WWII, Private Joe Medicine Crow stole 50 horses from a SS camp, and sung a traditional Crow honor song as he rode away.

Bats are immune to many of the diseases they carry because flying raises their metabolic rate to fever pitch, sending their immune system into overdrive.
