Prayer unites you with your spouse because it shifts the focus from yourselves and back where it belongs - onto God.

Prayer reminds husband and wife that they are partners, not opponents.

Prayer keeps Christ at the center of the marriage.

Amos 3:3 says “Can two walk together, unless they have agreed?”

We end prayer with “AMEN,” - which means “WE AGREE.” Prayer is when you and your spouse come into agreement.

If you want to walk together, if you want to be united, if you don’t want to end in divorce - you must be a marriage who prays together.
