@diego_claramunt Modalism is another limitation on God. Just like how Trinitarians limit God by thinking He can’t be a manifestation in flesh and still be God the Father… modalist assume He also can be only one at a time. Take the limits off God. He’s an omnipresent Spirit.

@diego_claramunt If it is so obvious, then why does the next chapter say we are made from dirt and a soul? The Jew who wrote and read this for thousands of years never saw that as a triune God. Some say He is speaking to angels, earth, the “royal we”, or future man, but never His triunity.

@diego_claramunt I know I won’t convince you, but at least you can see now that your ideas need an outside source to make it work. Here’s proof. What if a heresy came up that the Holy Spirit is the 1st person in the Trinity. Go use Bible to prove that heresy wrong. You need a 4th century creed.

@diego_claramunt You also don’t realize that the lens you are filtering text through is not itself in the text. It is in a creed from the 4th century. There’s no text that says God has 3 egos. None that say He is 3 persons, but several that say He is NOT a person.

@diego_claramunt Thanks. I haven’t heard anyone say that God has 3 egos. I wanted to see how one would jump to that conclusion. It seems you are reading into text something that isn’t there without even realizing it. You have a presupposition that God has 3 egos and filter text through that lens.

@diego_claramunt I could string together several verses that would seem to indicate that God has physical human body parts, however, I would need to ignore passages about Him being an omnipresent Spirit to do so. For your interpretation to work, you have to ignore passages that contradict you

@diego_claramunt For example, in Gen 1:26, how do you know there are 3 in that conversation? Our could mean 2, 4, or 1 million. You assume 3, but do you ever question why? In the context it seems more clear that God was continuing to speak to the Earth as He was in verse 11 and 24.
