Nothing says "we oppose the India FTA" quite like sending your minister to champion trade in India. Glad to see @nzfirst changing their tune, better late than never when it comes to supporting New Zealands economic growth!
Sometimes it’s better to watch what people do than what they say.
NZ First oppose the India FTA, while their own minister Mark Patterson is off to India promoting wool exports that will soon be tariff-free under it.
Go Mark, we wish you every success promoting the FTA!
@aniobrien Its just crazy, I think Henry would be better saying it is National/Stanford, not the govt entirely. VPNs are so critical for the safety of so many
.@toddmstephenson and @actparty are bang on, New Zealanders should not have to choose between their career and their right to free speech. Professional regulators exist to ensure competence, and safety, not to act as ideological enforcers for lawful private beliefs
You shouldn't have to affirm a contested political ideology just to keep your job.
Today I’m announcing ACT’s new policy to stop professional regulators acting as ideological enforcers.
Watch to see how we’re putting them back in their lane. 👇
.@MaramaDavidson forgot to turn up to speak on her “Right to Repair” Members Bill, and the Bill has been discharged 😆a quick way to get rid of a bad Bill, calendar notifications are a great help by the way @NZGreens#nzpol
Te Pati Māori hate Democracy and Democratic institutions. This is the second time this Term they have caused the business of the House to be suspended purposely
@aniobrien I would say there is definetly a connection between their lack of Parliamentary Knowledge and them never being in the House enough to learn how it operates and how to phrase questions to be within Standing Orders
