Intro ASC classes are working together to record and analyze their proper form. Students recorded each other's form and are having conversations while using the skill rubric to determine what areas they are doing well and what areas need to be improved.
Health was practing "building" communication with a Lego activity. Students had to relay information to their group members and apply listening and communication skills to build their Lego design correctly. Group members would switch tasks for the next model
Group fitness did a walking and team building activity/competition.
Each team had different colored envelopes with puzzle pieces inside. They had to hide their envelopes for the other team to find. The first team to find their hidden envelopes and assemble their puzzle, wins!
Local law officers visited Health Ed classes to discuss with students current laws, give insight into the dangers of ATOD with students and issues seen in the community.
Floor is lava, team buidling in Group Fitness. Teams had to get from one side of the room to the other without touching the floor. Different restrictions and challenges were added on each time.
Heads and tails reaction drill. If you are tails and tails is flipped/called, you become the tagger and have to catch your partner (heads) before they cross the line.
