Final paper from my PhD now published - The climatic resilience of the Sasanian Empire. We compiled and critiqued climate-society evidence in the Sasanian Empire, finding a lack of impacts from the major 6th c. drought that was detrimental elsewhere.
Tomorrow at 1pm, we have a presentation by Lukáš Holata from the University of South Bohemia about identifying Medieval agriculture in the Czech Republic through LiDAR and other archaeological methods. All are welcome on zoom or in person!

The autumn series of the Agrarian History seminar series, themed around resources, is now finalized. This includes four talks in English, next week we have Dan Calderbank from @UofGArchaeo discussing communities at Tell Khaiber in ancient Mesopotamia! More info later this week
