@JasminePie5@sisterlelianas I'm not saying they can't. I don't think these characters would. I think people with these personalities would never let some random make the calls for them almost instantly after meeting no matter their shared condition. It's a contrivance of plot that works just barely.
@Foxhound2931@VampyNeoxie The new thing will still be there! The point of narrative choice based games is to enjoy the journey and take as much or little time with it as you want! They are long, that is true. Play veilguard if you want, though! Any of them are great games.
@Foxhound2931@VampyNeoxie Inquisition sets up the entire conflict and fills in a lot of lore gaps. It's also my favorite in the series. They are cheap and easily breezed through on easiest difficulty. Just play them on easy to get to veilguard is my suggestion. They are fun!
@alessio59628747@screwintuna@sisterlelianas You said the reason they joined quickly (my initial tweets problem) is because of a shared condition. I don't think that really holds water. That's all I'm saying. I'm happy it worked for you though, have a good night! Feel better!
@alessio59628747@screwintuna@sisterlelianas I'll cut any further points I could make and just end with it's clear they needed these characters to travel together but didn't want the player to have to wait at all or charm them into working together so they just cut that part out. It works, but it's hacky (to me)
@alessio59628747@screwintuna@sisterlelianas If you all have the same problem but different ideas for solutions in several areas and directions why would you assume you needed the help of some random with the same condition but completely opposed to everything you stand for and even against your ideas on how to handle it
@Admiral_cmonke @sisterlelianas I want to be clear that I think BG3 isn't secretly bad. I couldn't stand almost every part of it from top to bottom on pretty much any level.
It wasn't for me BECAUSE of its sandbox, laid back approach to interacting with it. It's well made, though.
@Admiral_cmonke @sisterlelianas Honestly, this is exactly why it didn't work for me on any level. None of those people seemed like they would work together for any length of time. I hated having to go back to the "camp" in the ether to get drip fed new sentences about a thing that happened an hour ago, etc
@judysquirrels His writing always has this problem for me. I know I'm in the minority and it works for most people, but I honestly find it unwatchable.
