There are still lingering, insidious problems from COVID that we are reconciling with and I don't think are fully appreciated. Take our court systems for example. The backlog of criminal cases increased 50% during the pandemic. It never quite recovered
The pandemic started six years ago. If money and staff failed to rectify problems in our court system, they are unlikely to solve others. New solutions are needed.
