Prince Harry and Meghan Markle never actually wanted to leave the Royal Family.
They wanted to rewrite the rules in their favour - half in, half out. All the titles, palaces, security, prestige and royal connections, but none of the duty, discipline or accountability. They thought they could have it both ways.
They genuinely believed they were the monarchy’s golden ticket. That once they flounced off, the whole institution would fall apart without their star power and the Royal Family would eventually come crawling back, begging them to return on their terms.
What a delusion.
Instead, the Royal Family closed ranks, adapted, and carried on like they barely noticed. Everything continued without the so-called “irreplaceable” Sussexes. The monarchy didn’t just survive. It proved it never needed them in the first place.
That’s the brutal humiliation.
They spent years insisting the Royal Family couldn’t function without them, only to discover they couldn’t function without the Royal Family. Every interview, documentary, memoir and Netflix sob story screamed the same pathetic truth: they can’t let go. They can’t build anything real without constantly milking the very institution they claim to hate.
And now, after all the scorched-earth attacks, the family accusations, the victim tours and the endless royal-bashing, reconciliation is suddenly looking very attractive.
After trying to burn the monarchy to the ground, they’re sniffing around for a way back in.
That’s not growth. That’s desperation. One of the most embarrassing own-goals in modern royal history - betting everything on the idea that the Crown needed them more than they needed the Crown.
The monarchy is still standing.
Their post-royal “empire” never happened.
Prove me wrong.
A sincere thank you to everyone who made these two days so special. We look forward to welcoming The Princess of Wales back to Italy again soon! 🇬🇧🇮🇹

Happy 15th Anniversary to Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales!!
These two have endured so much turmoil since they married 15 years ago, but through it all, still have that “new marriage chemistry”!!
Bless them!!
Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.
