I would like to take a moment to dedicate this chapter to the lead model featured in Mitchell's Wonderland series, Katie Hardwick, who sadly passed away recently. Though I never met Katie, I felt a connection to her through Wonderland & am thinking of those who love her dearly β€οΈ
Thrilled to have my contributor copy of Alice Through the Looking-Glass: A Companion (eds. @frankendodo & @justinehouyaux) πͺπ My chapter explores reflections of identity in Looking-Glass through contemporary illustration (@BENLACOMBE) & fine art photography (Kirsty Mitchell) β¨
A special word of thanks to Kirsty Mitchell who kindly allowed me to use her fine art photographs in this chapter. Her Wonderland collection is stunning, and I continue to be in awe of her talent π· You can read more about her work here: https://t.co/noMTePtXbO
