@DrSuneelDhand True, thing was they didn't tell me, the advocate, either. I only found out that the statin had been added because the nurse came with medications when I was there and I asked what the medications were. Once my relative heard there was a statin she refused that pill.

And don't get me started on the other hospital who called me, twice, to verify correct pharmacy, then sent Rx upon discharge to the old pharmacy. Fortunately, my relative wasn't going to take those meds anyway.

@DrSuneelDhand Once admitted, make sure your relative knows to ask every time they're given a medication what the medication is. I had a relative who doesn’t take statins, had a mild heart attack, went to the hospital and they had a statin added to their medication list without their knowledge
