It’s not well known that people in this country couldn’t officially self-identify. Census takers simply looked at you and decided your race.
This forced us under the same label, regardless of pre-colonial ancestry (African or indigenous alike) and that involuntarily gelled us into an ethnicity, and created generational proximity that formed our collective culture.
It was complete erasure. They were just more thorough in making sure we all mixed together for generations. The Great Migration just made it easier because of the city government’s simplified classification system at the time.
White
Negro
Immigrant or Foreign born
The “Black Americans” are attempting to erase, de-legitimize, re-write, or completely ignore the reclassification history of Black Americans….who are you people?
Not all Black Americans have African ancestry a lot of us know exactly who we are.
So tread lightly and watch your mouth. Worry about your own bloodlines!
Folks should be able to acknowledge the historical significance of these things being documented in America. While also acknowledging that there were African slaves…again, no “Pretendians”, just erasure.
And then proceeded to mix with the seminoles…..It’s particularly this aspect of history that’s ignored and summed up to “Pretendians”. Let alone…again…reclassification/ Racial Integrity Act…
All in the comments…we are currently witnessing the Pan-Africans next attack method is to de-legitimize Native American involvement in American history. Same method; they learn enough about our history. They use it as a weapon.
The same narrative that we ALL came from Africa and there is no other possible DNA/ or lineage that you can find..…they’re still Pan-African…infiltrated the infiltration is crazy…lied long enough they feel like it’s safe to shed that Skin Suits. What the fuck.🥲😂
I keep seeing people that are “Black American” minimizing the Native Americans involvement in the Slave Trade/ reclassification history…as if they don’t know American history…let alone doing a disservice in erasing aspects of it. To fall back into being Pan-African..
I see, so it’s a new attempt for Pan-Africans to derail literal documented history. Just under closer vicinity of Black Americans…..why are you guys minimizing the involvement of Native Americans in AMERICAN history?
If you're not descended from Africans then youre not Black.
I respect your right to self-hatred. So respect my right to exclude you.
It's not diaspora wars if youre not part of the diaspora 😊
Has it ever occurred to folks that with the same logic they place in the African Slave Trade….the Native Americans never had theirs? The Native Americans never had enemy tribes they conquered? Different beliefs that caused conflicts? Nothing?
Africa is not an ethnicity, lineage or nationality it is a continent with 3,000 plus tribes and 54 nations so no we ain’t “African” goofy neither is a Hausa and a Fulani none of these groups identify by continent again you are a believer in the pan Africanist religion where you worship a broad continent as if it is an ethnicity it is not.

@dijoni Don….it’s almost like we got taken as a joke when folks gave them a heads up to get off of TPS….god forbid they can call our food Slave Food…literally what the KKK called it at one point…Slave Food…/.but as soon as we show the mud cookies…WE’RE like the KKK? 💀
