@katelynstarr321 Sorry for the delay on this! I haven’t bought Pravana from amazon and I always wonder if it’s legit. The seller may have a license or it could be fake which I hate that we even have to worry about as consumers 😱
@katelynstarr321 Ohhhh shiiit it was smoke you’re right! Haha! I haven’t tried mercury! You could try the Pravana silver and add some of their black additive! You probably only need a super small amount of it. I’ve used their black additive cuz I like a darker root and it’s amazing!!!
@katelynstarr321 I use the Redken hair cleansing cream and leave it on for a few minutes in the shower. It’s a life changer when using rinses especially if your hair has felt weighed down lately 🖤✨🙌🏻
@katelynstarr321 It pulled suuuuuper blue on me. My roots were pretty gold too which honestly should have toned out some of that blue but that’s what I used on my roots for the “denim and lilac hair tutorial” I think it’s called. Definitely looked more denim than grey
@katelynstarr321 ...Which prevents the products from building up and my hair gets back to feeling itself. Also, the Smokey grey I had years ago was using Pravana silver and the True Steel on top but I haven’t been able to achieve it with just color 😩
@katelynstarr321 Ooo okay do you use a clarifying shampoo every now and again? When I use rinses or when I go through phases where I’m wearing a lot of hair spray I can experience build up and my hair gets stiff, heavy, and almost sticky when wet. I use a clarifying shampoo about once a month...
