I just explained this but when a rush is only for less than a yard, the runner is still awarded in the stat book a full yard IF the ball reaches the next yard marker (the 6 yard line in this case)

@spreaddatask @EliasSports Although it was technically like a .67 yard run, according to the rulebook and stat keeping, a player is awarded a full yard whenever they reach the next yard line marker which Kyren clearly did based on the spot. Please correct this for the people

@spreaddatask @EliasSports To add further, on 2nd down, the ball is on the Seahawks ~ 6.67 yard line. After the run and the spot. The ball is then placed on the Seahawks 6 yard line!

@LilTroopvr @BD_adkins @g_dabbs12 If u look at the first down line & the Line of scrimmage, there r 5 dash marks in between which means it is 2nd and 5 yards to gain. After Kyrens run, there r 4 dashes between the LOS and first down line which means the ref advanced the ball 1 yard. So Kyren should be at 40 yds

Props to the guy in the video. Go watch his tweet. But paused it on contact. Kyren Williams definitely got a yard. Stat corrections if they’re truly doing it needs to get on this. FanDuel, draftkings both reported it was a yard on play by play but not officially.
