No worker should be killed, injured, or suffer illness due to workplace hazards or incidents. Today we remember and honour those who have, including 181 BC workers who lost their lives to workplace injury or disease last year. #DayOfMourning#bced#bcpoli
One year since this wonderful person died IN a #BCED school from CoVID complications-an infection picked up at school.
My niblings were devastated.
No peep from anyone, not even from BCTF.
No fight in her name to protect teachers.
She died for nothing!

@steeletalk@jodyvance What is Bonnie Henry's plan should an earthquake or other disaster strike now, while our hospitals are overwhelmed? Where would the injured go?
Thank you to the dedicated @OntariosDoctors who joined us today at Queen's Park to advocate for our 3 solutions to increase patient's access to care. #Onhealth#OMAatQP
@BCCFP @DocBells BCNDP and then BCLiberals and now BCNDP again have broken healthcare.
Things were bad before CoVID, absolutely.
But the medical community continuing to follow bad science is prolonging this part of the pain.
Things aren't going to get better until you all do better, too. 2/2
@KatharineSmart@kootenaysdoc@DrJacobsRad@awgaffney Sincerely hope that you're talking about the antivaxxers and antimaksers and convoy people with your 'shout' remark, and not the parents and other concerned adults who have repeatedly implored you to advocate for safety on behalf of their kids from your rather important position.
@KatharineSmart@CaulfieldTim What happened to you?
You endorse someone de facto blaming paediatric infection on mothers not being exposed to a virus? When that virus had more spread last year than this? When we've been living w/o CoVID mitigations for eons?
You're not a good person.

On #immunitydebt
1- public health measures have limited exposure to diseases for a century. Yet, the phrase immunity debt just recently popped. When public health measures stopped exposure to waterborne diseases, people just lived longer, no faulty claims of immunity debt.
@jtferrier Is this political interference?
Don't you work for a company that has government contracts? Specifically, contracts with the BCNDP?
@AnjaliApp perhaps an angle your team needs to investigate?
@AwakeWeasel@OhBeing@LyndaL77@georgiastraight Because fucking idiots insist on their "freedoms" and keep fucking spreading CoVID so that it has the ability to mutate & spread more.
If ppl had fucking stopped whining in the beginning & we'd actually worked to stop CoVID as much as poss, the vaccines would have had a chance.
@MichaelSchwandt@DebraJ43@wendibloomenth1@CDCofBC You still haven't answered Debra's question about ventilation in classrooms or why parents can't donate air purifiers or CR boxes.
It's been almost a week.
Is anyone ready to discuss the fact that Boris Johnson's government, and poor handling of CoVID, most certainly hastened the Queen's death? Or is it too soon?
She was definitely old, but still full of life, until she was infected.
Also: if focused protection actually worked...
@MichaelSchwandt@DebraJ43@wendibloomenth1 @other_jane @CDCofBC Always an excuse to get out of answering the hard questions, right?
We need to redefine "Good Faith" when it comes to public health workers.
