🇦🇫 When Afghanistan hosts India in Delhi. 🇦🇫

🇦🇫 When Afghanistan hosts ICC Chairman Jay Shah in Delhi. 🇮🇳

When Afghanistan can call India home for its cricket, receive India's support, and play a home series in front of thousands of Indian fans - that's more than cricket. ❤️🇦🇫🇮🇳

You don't do all this for just anyone.

Some friendships are built by treaties. Others are built on trust, respect and a big heart.

This is true friendship. This is brotherhood.

🇦🇫🇮🇳 Afghanistan & India - brothers by choice.

ACB Added to ACC Presidency Rotation!

At the recent Annual General Meeting of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), a significant step was taken towards strengthening Afghanistan’s role within the leadership and development of Asian cricket.

Following an initiative put forward by ACB Chairman Mr. Mirwais Ashraf, the ACC Member Boards expressed their support for Afghanistan’s inclusion in the Council’s leadership framework, while also supporting the consideration of Afghanistan as a host for future ACC tournaments and events.

These important decisions reflect the growing recognition, confidence, and standing of Afghanistan Cricket within Asia, while opening new opportunities for Afghanistan to contribute more actively to the leadership of Asian cricket and to host major ACC events in the future.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board sincerely appreciates the Asian Cricket Council and its Member Boards for their confidence, support, and continued cooperation, and remains committed to working alongside its Asian counterparts to further contribute to the growth, development, and advancement of cricket across Asia.

Afghanistan claims that Pakistani strikes targeted a hospital in the capital Kabul, reportedly killing hundreds of people. Meanwhile, Pakistan says the operation targeted military sites.

Tensions between the two countries have been rising after a series of cross-border attacks.

[TOLOnews @TOLOnews]

Innocent people lost their dear lives on the eve of Lailatul Qadr

We strongly condemn the targeting of an innocent civilian rehabilitation hospital. This barbaric act by the Pakistani military regime during the holy month of Ramadan is a blatant violation of humanitarian norms and reflects a profound disregard for human life and dignity.

Such actions will only strengthen our unity and resolve as a people to stand firmly against oppression and injustice.

[TOLOnews English @TOLONewsEnglish]

The Chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, Mirwais Ashraf, in a post on social media, condemned last night’s attack by Pakistan’s military regime and stated that a hospital treating innocent civilians was targeted in the strike.

He added that this is a clear violation of humanitarian principles.

Ashraf said that such actions will only strengthen people’s unity and determination to stand firmly against oppression and injustice.
