Day 5 — 2027 Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF)

The AGM demands an immediate upward review of the Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF) in accordance with the current DTA calculation template issued by the Federal Government, to reflect prevailing realities and the actual cost of residency training, and further demands that the reviewed MRTF be appropriately captured in the 2027 Appropriation Act to ensure timely and adequate funding of residency training.
