On the night of 07-08 May 2025, Pakistan attempted to engage a number of military targets in Northern and Western India using drones and missiles, all of which were effectively neutralised by the Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems. In response, Indian Armed Forces targeted Air Defence Radars and systems in various locations in Pakistan. The intense unprovoked firing by Pakistan along the Line of Control has led to the loss of 16 innocent Indian lives and our forces acted decisively to silence the hostile fire. India’s response has been in the same domain, with the same intensity, and remains focused, measured, and is non-escalatory. #OperationSINDOOR #IndiaDefends

Welcome home, space legends Sunita Williams & Butch Wilmore! 👏🏻👏🏻
A 9-month saga of grit ends today… 286 days on ISS, 4,577 orbits, millions of miles. Salute their epic resilience!🫡🙏🏻
I am writing this now because Social media didn’t exist when I was 18 years of age. 😁
It was year 1999. I was away from my parents, my hometown to do my engineering degree in Coimbatore. In one of the regular health checkups in the hostel, the medical officer asked “when was your LMP (Last Menstrual Period)?” I said, “Don’t remember. May be more than 6 months ago…”
She gave a strange confused look quite concerned and advised me to go to a gynaecologist to “fix” my periods problem. I knew what was coming but I didn’t have the heart to send my dad medical bill on top of mess bill.
But my dearest friend took me to her native in Nagercoil and consulted with the best gynaecologist in town, who treated her mom’s infertility issue and was responsible for my friend’s birth. The doc put me on a 6 month long painful hormonal therapy. I did get my periods but that didn’t fix the problem permanently. I lived with what 80% of girls/women deal with - Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I was also advised that I might not conceive and at the age of 19/20, I was contemplating if I should get married or not.
But like a miracle, practising a few asanas learnt in a Yoga session arranged by my hostel warden fixed my menstrual cycle. The aged but fit yoga teacher dearly asked us to keep up the practice. And I didn’t and was back to square one!
Few years rolled by. I landed in a dream job in Cognizant. It was a dream job as recession hit us hard then and many companies couldn’t honour the offer given by them during campus interviews.
So everything was going fine outwardly. And simply for no reason, with no specific goal, may be I wanted to be “more good”, I enrolled for Inner Engineering program. Then my friend (now #MrHusband) recommended me to do this program. Probably this was the best investment and insurance he ever did to secure his life. 😁
With both of us reminding and supporting each other for the yoga practice, in 28 days I got my periods. My sinus headache disappeared. My relationship with me got better. There was no conflict within anymore. I became free of the past burdens, willing to take up life as it came.
Drama was at the peak during my marriage (ours was an inter-caste, cross culture marriage). But I played my role quite well. After marriage, the gynaecologist I consulted in Chennai saw my abdomen scan reports, told me as a matter of fact, “You may not conceive on your own. When you decide to take up motherhood, do visit me.”
And that was the last time I visited her. 😇
3 years later, I gave birth to a girl child who now studies in Isha Samskriti! Yoga practices defied all expert medical prediction!
When you have your Guru’s grace in the form of Yoga Sadhana, every aspect of your life is taken care of. Taking up Inner Engineering was a significant turning point in my life.
Here I am, with more than 22 years gone sharing the Amrit I received inadvertently with all around. Now my life is not about me alone…
We educate rural children, plant trees, conduct yoga sessions, do annadhanam and offer my time to help with technology aspects from my corporate experience to reach more and more people on the planet.
Celebrating life! Bindaas!

When it comes to wellness and mental peace, @SadhguruJV is always among the most inspiring personalities. I urge all #ExamWarriors and even their parents and teachers to watch this ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ episode tomorrow, 15th February.
A Message to the Hindus of today:
"You have withstood the shocks of centuries simply because you took great care of it, you sacrificed everything else for it. Your forefathers underwent everything boldly, even death itself, but preserved their religion. Temple after temple was broken down by the foreign conqueror, but no sooner had the wave passed than the spire of the temple rose up again."
These are not the statements of @ARanganathan72 or @jsaideepak or @ShefVaidya whom many people (unfortunately including Hindus) consider as strongly biased towards Hindus, as if that is wrong!
This is actually from Swami Vivekananda himself, extracted from his book "On India And Her Problems".
The key to what Bharatiyas need is spirituality and Swami Vivekananda makes it plenty clear.
"The Indian nation cannot be killed. Deathless it stands, and it will stand so long as that spirit shall remain as the background, so long as her people do not give up their spirituality. Beggars they may remain, poor and poverty-stricken; dirt and squalor may surround them perhaps throughout all time, but let them not give up their God, let them not forget that they are the children of the sages."
The #INDIAAI mission, a £10,000-crore initiative to bolster India's artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem, is moving forward with the government shortlisting around seven companies from 19 bidders to provide Al compute and cloud services. Among the prominent contenders are Yotta Data Services, E2E Networks, Jio Platforms, and Tata Communications.
I am unable to accept the absence of Ratan Tata.
India’s economy stands on the cusp of a historic leap forward.
And Ratan’s life and work have had much to do with our being in this position.
Hence, his mentorship and guidance at this point in time would have been invaluable.
With him gone, all we can do is to commit to emulating his example. Because he was a businessman for whom financial wealth and success was most useful when it was put to the service of the global community.
Goodbye and Godspeed, Mr. T
You will not be forgotten.
Because Legends never die…
Om Shanti

I have been a Isha meditator now for 6 years. I interact with many Bhramacharus there who are my mentors. I also interact with many volunteers there and we repeatedly visit the ashram. It is one of the most safest places I go to. Everything we do there is just based purely on our own willingness and nobody compels us. Thank you @SadhguruJV for being my Guru and creating an ashram like @ishafoundation
The nature of thoughts in our heads determine the nature of our actions.
If our thoughts are dominated by negative emotions like anger, jealousy, sorrow, pain, revenge, violence, pleasure-seeking or prestige-seeking, our actions will inevitably reflect those thoughts.
In Tamil, there is a pithy saying "நல்லதே நினை, நல்லதே செய்" which means "Think good (thoughts), do good (deeds)".
The fundamental insight of Hindu/Buddhist spirituality is that we can change the thoughts in our heads, we can redirect them, shape them, and over time we can achieve mastery over them. Spirituality provides a pathway to achieve "think good, act good" in our daily lives 🙏
Last week, we opened a nice campus in Tharuvai in Tirunelveli district, about 1 hour from where I live in Tenkasi. I love this new campus!
With this we have 3 major centres in southern districts: Mathalamparai in Tenkasi, Kappalur in Madurai and Tharuvai in Nellai. We are also expanding in the Kumbakonam area and we have a significant presence in Palladam near Coimbatore. We have many smaller satellite offices too and I work out of a small satellite in a remote village.
We are taking aggressive steps to direct our growth in Tamil Nadu towards rural offices so we don't further overcrowd Chennai.
My mother's forever dream of bringing me to her hometown Kundapura and seeking darshan at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha has finally come true! To make it happen just before her birthday on September 2nd is the best gift I could give her.
Thanks to @VKiragandur sir and my dearest friend Prashanth Neel for joining me and making this possible. A special thanks to my dear friend @shetty_rishab, whose presence and support made this moment incredibly special.
