@EddieMenger Hey Eddie, I saw your tweet to Jagex. Updates about the issue are provided on the homepage, under the article "Login Lockout Daily Updates". To cancel your membership without having access to your account, you can check the following options: https://t.co/eSWSLGTRMX
@Regin53023167 @JagexSupport could be that your computer is comprised. I would also recommend you to add the RS Authenticator to your account. Please take a look here to see what more you can do to secure your PC: https://t.co/r3yFUnhg9L. For securing your acc, check these tips: https://t.co/l8Y6xzMUGK
@Regin53023167 @JagexSupport Hey Regin, that does not sound good. Are you sure that your computer is secure? I would recommend you to change the password of your e-mail and RuneScape password on a different device (such as a mobile phone) to secure these first and then perform a scan on your computer. It 1/2
@doc_orona@JagexSupport Hey Doc! There certainly is! If you take a look at the following page, it will inform you about the steps you can take to change your e-mail (close to the bottom of the page): https://t.co/cZTyKdT6IC :)
@WestonDavidPhi1@JagexSupport more information to your recovery, such as billing proof, to increase your chances of a successful recovery. You can find more info about the appeal here: https://t.co/jf0GlpHmj9
@WestonDavidPhi1@JagexSupport Hey Weston, I'm afraid Jagex no longer uses e-mail addresses for account issues. The appeal process is the only way to recover the account. If your appeal was shot down, then it means that there was not enough information to confirm you as the real owner. Please try to add 1/2
@HoldMyStiX@JagexSupport Hey there! Unfortunately, Jagex does not process ban appeals on Twitter. You can find all the information you need on bans here: https://t.co/PRBoYgvbzb. I am sorry to hear that this has happened, but please be aware that any cheating will lead to a ban, even in other game modes.
@Saosiiin@JagexSupport for tips on how you can secure your e-mail and https://t.co/ZznBXx5w0J on how you can turn on the RuneScape Authenticator. This should protect your account in the future. For other tips on computer and account security, see: https://t.co/l8Y6xzMUGK
@Saosiiin@JagexSupport Hey Nate, there has not been a data breach recently. Do you use different passwords on all ur accounts? It could be that the hijacker managed to get access through similar passwords. I would recommend you to activate 2 step verification. To see how, check: https://t.co/QSAvIJeAwf
@osrunescaper00@JagexSupport Hey osrunescaper, sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but I'm afraid it is not possible for Jagex to rollback OSRS accounts. :( This is mostly due to the engine constraints found within this game. Check https://t.co/NkcnuSONv2 for more information on rollbacks
@Dennis05850621@JagexSupport Hey Dennis, Jagex does not process ban appeals through Twitter or any other social media. Please check the following article to read more about bans: https://t.co/PRBoYgvbzb.
@SlayersBeSlayin @JagexSupport Hey Slayer - this depends on the name, but generally speaking this is not something that will happen. Name releases have happened in the past, but are not done regularly . For more info on display names, see: https://t.co/AU90oZyMJw (especially the bit under "unavailable names")
@DuaineeXD@JagexSupport Hey Mixrace Guru, it can take up to 14 days for ban appeals to be processed. I know that might seem like a long time, but you can be sure that Jagex is trying to get to your appeal as soon as possible.
@kyle74681281@JagexSupport Hey Kyle, Jagex can take up to 14 days to respond to your ban appeal. I know that can be a long time when you want to play, but rest assured that Jagex will get to your appeal as soon as possible!
@Mr_J123123 @JagexSupport Who is your e-mail provider? There is currently still an issue with the AOL e-mail addresses. See https://t.co/oQCbv3DuRK for more info
@SaltyFlavoring @JagexSupport@JagexShauny Have you tried to turn off any script/ad blocking extensions? Or to use another browser? This should hopefully fix the issue!
If it doesn't, then please submit a bug report. You can do so by following the instructions at the bottom of this page:
https://t.co/V97NoEVNn0
@Im_Ambro @JagexSupport Hey Ambro,
I'm going to guess that the problem is the language spoken. Most of Jagex's CS team is English, which is why these reports will take some time.
Please do continue to report the player though, as these reports enable Jagex to take action faster!
@Michael12814@JagexSupport Hey there Michael,
Jagex does not review bans on Twitter. You will have to submit a ticket via the website. Please check https://t.co/sz3yykjDoB for more information + a link to the form.
Remember it can take 28 days before you receive a response.
@Begave@JagexSupport Hey Begave, sorry to hear that. :(
Lucky for you, there is a process in place for issues like these. Please take a look here: https://t.co/sz3yykjDoB to see if you are eligible to apply for a review.
Good luck and I hope you will have access again soon!
