And as someone who’s been a practicing witch for 20 years, I know first hand that we as spiritual/witches take watered down ideas from other people’s cultures and apply them as seen fit.

I would like for Drew Afualo to please shut the fuck up. All that we are learning from this whole conversation is that misogyny is so engrained in our culture that biological women are not allowed to have their own space.

Womanhood and femininity is the only space that is constantly redefined to accommodate everyone. Biological women do not matter and our issues as biological women have to be challenged and when we stand up for ourselves we’re called “terfs”.

And saying that trans women have a “more beautiful understanding of what womanhood is” is actually insane tho.

Saying that there are some spaces reserved exclusively for cis women within feminism is NOT being a “terf” it means that not everything is for everyone and that’s okay.

The Christians that debated her also lacked that understanding. They were too focused on the biblical God and forgot that God is BIGGER than the Bible, sin, etc. Jesus is bigger than the Bible. But Christianity limits him to the book.
