Canโt stress this enough, if youโre a player playing high school in the US and you arenโt a top 30-35 recruit, if you have any sort of international roots you should play FIBA youth competition
The exposure, the competition, the usage can be night and day recruiting wise

@FrancescoC63483 Anche secondo me, sarebbe stata la scelta piรน corretta. Andiamo lรฌ con una serie di 3/4 che dovranno difendere i vari Gohier, Dampier, Basaran, Corta....
Italy has just released his list for the U17 World Cup and I think there are some misses in key roles.
No. 10 of my ranking, Cosimo Flauto, has been one of the best overall guards in this season of an overall bad U17 Eccellenza. No. 12 Pietro Maiorano from Stella EBK has high potential as a sized creator, but didn't make the cut.
Some players in the final list aren't productive at their U17 level, too, like 6'7 center Paolo Lojacono, or 6'7 forward Federico Bagordo. Another player I wouldn't have called is 5'10 PG Filippo Papale from Ancona, especially when Maiorano, Flauto and Virgilio Firpo from Olimpia Milano are out, with Firpo not even in the reserve.
I like the try on 6'0 PG Cristian Malano, one of the best players overall at National Finals, and has the size to at least compete against longer and taller NT's, differently to other players called. I like also Ismael Balima in the reserve list, something great for a new society like GranTorino, and will be the first of many!!
How I see the 12-men roster this summer?
PG
Marco Milazzo, 6'3 PG, Virtus Bologna
Mario Machetti, 6'0 PG, Trento
Cristian Malano, 6'0 PG, Vis Ferrara
SG
Simone Ventura, 6'6 G
Nicolรฒ Ronci, 6'4 CG
SF
Leonardo Nicolodi, 6'6 W
Farid Compaore, 6'5 W
PF
Lapo Santini, 6'9 F/W
Mattia Ruggeri, 6'8 F/W
Federico Bagordo, 6'7 F
C
Andrea Chouenkam, 6'8 F/W
Alessandro Alba, 6'7 F
I think the situation of the new NCAA eligibility rules will start the 2027/28 seasons, editing what has just been done so far won't be appliable. But NCAA needs to be clear with rules and every player need to fill a category that says YES or NO to his eligibility. But need to do that in November for the next season, not in May for the upcoming one.
I have a 7-2โ 260lb prospect whoโs only been playing for 3 years, but improved more under my training than anybody Iโve ever seen in a 6 month Period. Just got invited to the Italian U20 national team tryout. And I canโt even get one division 1 coach to trust me!Come on fellas
