Nalanda Campus construction work in full flow. 🙂
The structural work of both hostels is almost complete, and the internal finishing work is currently underway. The ground floor of our Academic Block is also ready, with two classrooms completed and two more under construction.
Last week, work also began on our Kitchen & Dining Block and the Buddha Pavilion.
If everything goes well, we are hoping to inaugurate the campus with our first batch of 100 residential students by late October this year. Fingers crossed. 🤞
Deep gratitude to everyone who has supported us and stood with us in helping build this dream together.
Jaibhim!

As part of documenting 13 years of Nalanda, this blog revisits our 9th Foundation Day (October 2, 2022).
At its heart was the felicitation of Samyak Buddha Vihar Mahila Mandal, Bhim Nagar— whose support made Nalanda possible.
The event was graced by Ms. Prerna Deshbrathar (IAS, then Collector, Wardha) and Dh. Lokamitra (Founder, Nagaloka, Nagpur).

Every month, as part of Nalanda’s outreach, we travel to different parts of the country and conduct 2–3 such workshops with students.
Over the last 4 years, we have done more than 100 workshops — reaching young minds across villages and small towns.
These spaces matter to us. They allow us to share whatever we have learned, and to stay connected with the realities and aspirations of students on the ground.
Here is a short report from one such recent workshop held in Ganauli village, Yamunanagar (Haryana).

In Wardha, every summer, a different kind of classroom comes alive.
At Nalanda Abhiyan Labs — an experimental space inside a Buddha Vihara — students from rural and marginalised backgrounds get their first hands-on exposure to science, design, and technology.
From robotics and electronics to virtual reality and design thinking, these summer workshops are not about lectures, but about learning by doing.
This is a glimpse into that journey.
