Russia is banned due to the invasion of Ukraine (political), South Africa was excluded from Olympics for 30ish years during Apartheid, the Tommie Smith and John Carlos protest, several boycotts and we could go on.

@cicero418 @adamscochran @d2fl @mehdirhasan I could be wrong but I think ICE need probable cause, a judicial warrant or consent to order someone out of a vehicle. I didn't see a warrant, I don't think they had probable cause and there definitely wasn't consent.

@nerdlecca @LePapillonBlu2 He's a taxpayer. Everyone in the country earning over $18200 is. His out of pocket cost is still 0 his medical debt is still 0. My mum was flown 1 hour away for an emergency surgery to remove fluid around her brain. That procedure would put most Americans in debt she got no bill.

@nerdlecca @LePapillonBlu2 Received a few surgeries to fix what remained of his finger and then received skin grafts to cover the exposed bone. Total out of pocket cost? 0 dollarydoos. The trip between the 2 hospitals was like 50 miles as well. No ambulance is transporting you 50 miles in the US for $0

@nerdlecca @LePapillonBlu2 I know someone who got taken to a small hospital with a partly severed finger and spent the night getting basic treatment. Transported via ambulance the next day to a bigger hospital where he spent another few nights being assessed by surgeons. 1
